What is a hub??
A Hub can be any person, school, gardening group, organization, place of business or any entity that wants to grow and give away free native milkweed seedlings and free California native nectar plant seedlings in their area.
Volunteering to host a free native hub is a commitment to the following:
1. Growing native milkweed or nectar plant seedlings without the use of pesticides over a 2-3 month period.
2. Spreading the word about your new Hub in your community via social media, word of mouth or flyers.
3. Answering emails and handling your Hub’s inquiries for milkweed.
4. Hosting pickup events once your seedlings are ready.
5. Distributing information about Monarch Fellowship, Monarchs and other native pollinators and the benefits of native plants to your recipients.
